Mental Golf Miami
Your swing is ready. Is your mind?

Reports Coach
The edge nobody else brings.
Three instruments most coaches never touch — so we measure your mind and your game with real data, then train against it.
Arccos
Sensors on every club feed an AI engine that maps your full round — every club, every distance — so we analyze your real game with hard data, not memory.
EMOTIV EPOC X
A research-grade 14-channel EEG headset that records what your brain is actually doing under pressure — focus, anxiety, recovery — at the exact moment of impact.
Vielight Neuro Alpha
Transcranial near-infrared light, used in six 20-minute sessions, to support brain recovery and cellular regeneration — backed by Vielight's published research.

Why work with me?
I'm Lucía Muñoz Díez — licensed sports psychologist, certified in Golf Psychology under Dr. Greg Steinberg, and from the Basque Country. The same land that produced Jon Rahm, Seve Ballesteros, and José María Olazábal.
Mental toughness and golf excellence are in our DNA. I combine European golf tradition with evidence-based sports psychology to help you master the part of the game nobody else is teaching — the 6 seconds before the shot, the reset after the bad one, and the mental state that separates your best rounds from your worst.
I'm one of the few coaches working with EEG brain scans — real data on focus, anxiety, and recovery, so we can measure what's actually happening between your ears instead of guessing.
Based in Miami. Working in English and Spanish.
The hard way.
I discovered the mental game the hard way. A solid swing wasn't enough. When the pressure came, something else took over.
Throughout my life I've faced significant health challenges that taught me what mental resilience actually means — not as a concept, but as a daily practice. That experience is now the foundation of everything I teach on the course.
I've also written a book — not about golf, but about what living with illness taught me about resilience, focus, and the mind. The same lessons that now sit underneath everything I teach on the course.
I'm certified under one of the leading sport psychologists in the field. And I work with competitive golfers who are done leaving shots on the course because of what's happening between their ears.
Let's TalkThree ways to work together.
From a single diagnostic call to a full six-month transformation — choose the depth that fits where your game is right now.
The 1:1 Diagnostic Call
A focused one-on-one call where I read your game, pinpoint exactly what's holding you back, and hand you a clear diagnosis with the precise steps to work on next.
Travel IntensiveA Weekend With Me
I fly to wherever you are. Saturday and Sunday on the ground together — driving-range diagnosis first, then out onto the course to build exactly what your game needs.
Six-Month 1:1Master & Compete
The full transformation. Two coaching calls a week online; at month three I travel to you for an in-person mental scan and a round out on the course.
This works if you do.
Mental performance coaching isn't for everyone. It's for the golfer who's already serious enough about their game to look in the mirror.
✓ This is for you
- A conscious golfer — any level, amateur or pro — who knows the mind is the next frontier.
- Someone whose swing is solid, but the scorecard doesn't reflect it under pressure.
- Willing to train your mind with the same intensity you train your body.
- Ready to show up for two coaching calls a week and do the work between them.
- Looking for measurable progress — not motivation, not theory.
✕ This is not for you
- A quick fix, a single session, or a magic phrase to repeat on the tee.
- To talk about your game without changing anything about how you train.
- Motivation. This isn't about feeling good — it's about playing better.
- To outsource the work. You play the shots, you do the reps, I give you the system.
- Casual sessions without commitment. The minimum is six months.
The flagship.
The six-month program is the full transformation — two coaching calls a week, an in-person mental scan and a round at month three, and the complete tech stack. The first call is free.
30 min · No obligation · We'll map your first 90 days
Only 8 players at a time.
The questions I get most.
Everything you want to know before you book the call.
How many players do you work with at a time?
Eight, maximum. Two coaching calls a week with each player — plus the travel, the on-course work, and the data review — adds up fast, and the work I do isn't something I'm willing to dilute. When the eight spots are full, the next one opens when someone finishes their six months. If we don't have a fit right now, I'll tell you on the first call and let you know when a place comes free.
How long are the sessions, and how often?
On the six-month program we work online twice a week, and I travel to you for an in-person block at month three — a mental scan and a round on the course. The schedule adapts around your tournament calendar: we ramp up before competition and reset after.
Do you work online, or only in person?
Both. We work in person in Miami when possible, and online for everything else. I also travel to my players — you don't have to come to Miami unless we choose to.
Is this only for professional players?
No. This is for any level — amateur, collegiate, professional. What I need from you isn't a handicap. It's awareness. You have to be a player who understands that the mental game matters and is willing to train it.
How long until I see results?
Around the three‑month mark we start to see your handicap drop. By month six, you're at the handicap we set as our target at the start. The mental work compounds — month one builds the foundation, months four to six are where the breakthroughs happen.
What is the EEG brain scan and what does it measure?
Using a research-grade EMOTIV EPOC X headset, it measures your brain frequencies at the moment of impact — the exact second the club meets the ball. The data tells us whether you're actually focused under pressure or your mind is somewhere else. It removes the guesswork and gives us something concrete to train against.
How much do the programs cost?
There are three ways to work with me. A one-on-one diagnostic call is $275. A full weekend where I fly to you — driving-range work and rounds on the course — is $1,750, plus on-course fees. The six-month program is $5,997 and includes two coaching calls a week, the EEG brain scan, my travel to you at month three, the Arccos and Vielight technology, video review, and tournament prep.
The first call is free — we'll talk about your game first, and the right program second.
Do I have to come to Miami?
No. I travel to my players whenever it makes sense — to your home course, to your tournaments, wherever the work needs to happen. The rest is online.
How does the first call work? Is it free?
Yes, the first call is free — 30 minutes, no obligation. We talk about your game, what's working, what's not, what next season needs to look like. If we're a fit, we plan the start. If we're not, I'll tell you honestly.
Let's talk.
The first conversation is free. Tell me about your game, where the pressure shows up, and what you want next season to look like.
